HAIRLINE PRE-CARE ADVICE

Please read through this before arriving at your appointment. Following the instructions below will ensure proper healing from the procedure and the best possible results.

PRE-CARE ADVICE

  • No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.

  • Avoid sun tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Do not drink coffee or caffeine on the day of your appointment.

  • Please wash your hair before coming to your appointment.

    * Please note you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

AFTER CARE ADVICE

  • Only water wash for 2 days. Shampoo can be used 2 days after but avoid shampooing and rubbing the hairline area for at least 7 days.

  • No sun tanning, swimming or excessive sweating.

  • Do not rub or pick scabs.

    With any other semi permanent makeup procedure, you will experience scabbing during the healing process.

  • It will look darker and thicker as scabbing starts to form and feel tender & sore and may look warm and/or reddish.

  • Flaking and crusting may occur and may feel dry and itchy. Scabs peel off in random pieces and look patchy. The areas without the scabs may look lighter in colour.

    The colour will fade approximately 30-50% when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal. Do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected. The colour will become darker in 1-2 weeks after all the scabbing fall off.

    A follow up touch up is usually recommended and can be completed anytime after 5 weeks from the initial appointment.
