What is the difference between Microblading and Nano Brows?

Nano brows and Microblading are both techniques used in permanent makeup to create natural-looking eyebrows, but they differ in the tools and methods used:

Nano Brows:

It is a growing permanent makeup technique in the industry. Nano brows are created using a nano needle, which is a very fine, single-point needle attached to a tattoo machine specifically designed for permanent makeup.

Nano brows involve meticulously implanting pigment into the skin using precise, controlled movements. The nano needle allows for more intricate detailing and finer hair strokes compared to microblading. Nano brows tend to result in very fine, crisp hair strokes that closely mimic the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs. The technique is ideal for creating soft, natural-looking brows with subtle definition. With nano brows, any eyebrow pattern can be created according to individual needs. With this technique, an artist can create either pixelated or solid hair-strokes. The procedure time is around 2-3 hours and the price can vary on technician skill, expertise and location.

Microblading:

Microblading uses a manual hand tool with a row of tiny needles arranged in a blade shape. The needles create small incisions in the skin, into which pigment is deposited. Microblading involves manually drawing individual hair strokes onto the skin, following the natural direction of hair growth. The technician creates tiny cuts in the skin, then deposits pigment into these cuts to create the appearance of eyebrow hair.

Microblading typically results in slightly thicker and more defined hair strokes compared to nano brows. The technique can create a bolder, more dramatic look, but it still aims to achieve natural-looking brows.

Which technique is better Nano machine Brows or Microblading?

Nano brows deposits ink further into the skin than microblading to help it last longer and provide the most natural look possible. Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment that uses a handheld tool with several fine needles. These thin pigment strokes create a hair-like appearance for fuller, more well-defined brows. Your initial treatment should last 1-2 years before needing to schedule a touch-up appointment. Nano brows heal very soft and subtle.

However, in Microblading, your technician cannot cross over the other hair-stroke resulting in scars on your eyebrows. If done correctly, Microblading does fade faster as compared to nano brows.

In summary, the main difference between nano brows and microblading lies in the tools and techniques used to create the hair strokes. Nano brows utilize a finer needle and a more precise, controlled method, resulting in extremely fine and natural-looking hair strokes. Microblading, on the other hand, uses a manual hand tool with tiny needles arranged in a blade shape to create slightly thicker and more defined hair strokes. However, Nano brows lasts longer than Microblading depending on skin type and various lifestyle factors.
